Working closely with the US Forest Service, NSAA and numerous governmental agencies, Kirkwood has implemented stewardship programs that address revegation, energy efficiency, waste management, recycling, pollution control, and snowmaking. |

| A Break Down of the Ski Area Citizen's Coalition Annual Report |
| This year's SACC (Ski Area Citizen Coalition) Report was once again extremely critical of Kirkwood's environmental practices. Kirkwood encourages those of you truly interested in the results to take a few minutes in order to understand the biased nature of the report and its lack of balance on environmental issues. In this section, you can view Kirkwood's score, its response and the tangible steps taken by Kirkwood that have not been recognized by the report.
