Dress Code and Grooming Standards
The way you appear is the way our resort appears.
We have strict policies regarding personal
hygiene and grooming standards. While these
are more progressive than many resorts we
are diligent in enforcing our standards,
if you plan on arriving for work not meeting
our standards, don’t come.
Each department head has the authority to
enforce more rigorous grooming standards however
the basics are:
Hair
Clean, neat, natural color and conservatively
styled. A beard, mustache or goatee must
be well established at the time of hire,
and must be neatly trimmed and groomed as
well as conservative in style. All other
male employees should report to work closely
shaven.
Jewelry
Employees must meet safety regulations regarding
the wearing of jewelry. Tongue and nose piercing's
are allowed if they are established at the
time of hire, and only small jewelry is allowed.
No offensive jewelry or body piercing should
be visible.
Personal Hygiene
Employees must maintain appropriate personal
hygiene habits to ensure clean and inoffensive
hair, hands, face, body odor, breath and
teeth.
Uniforms
If you are required to wear a uniform during
working hours KMR will issue it to you. Each
department will have stated uniform requirements
which you will need to adhere to. Nametags
are to be worn by everyone. You may need
to provide your own black pants in some food
and beverage establishments; this will be
made clear to you at the time of hire.
No uniforms are to be worn while off duty,
and there is no smoking in uniform.
